Why can’t my student login?

There are many reasons why your student may not be able to login:

They made a typo in their email address :

  1. Click “Grades” tab.
  2. From the “Course” dropdown box, select the appropriate course.
  3. Locate the appropriate student; under the “Options” column, select “Edit.”
  4. Verify the email address listed is correct. If it is not correct, make the correction and click “Update.

They made a typo in their password:

  1. Click “Grades” tab.
  2. From the “Course” dropdown box, select the appropriate course.
  3. Locate the appropriate student; under the “Options” column, select “Edit.”
  4. Click “Reset Password.”
  5. Enter a new password (the password is case sensitive) and re-enter to confirm the password.
  6. Click “Update.”

You’ve exceeded your SAAS student license limit (Note: you must have admin privileges to verify the information listed below):

  1. Click “Setup” tab.
  2. Under “Site Setup,” click “Subscription Information.”
  3. You will see your maximum students (which is your purchased number of SAAS licenses for students), active students (if this number is equal to or greater than the maximum students, you have met or exceeded your purchasedlicenses), and a list of all active students.
  4. If you would like remove a student (for example if a student is enrolled using two email addresses), click “Remove.” (Note: The student’s data will automatically be retained in our system. If you accidentally remove a student, they can re-enroll or sign back in using the same email address and their data will be restored.)
