This module provides an introduction to international business including the global economy, trade, the diverse workforce, inter-cultural communication, forms of international business ownership, international operations and management, international marketing and international business travel.

Unit: A Diverse Workforce


Description
In this unit, students will learn about: selling products in international markets as they focus on intercultural communication in China, Brazil, and Saudi Arabia and "travel" to these countries to make presentations.

Description
In this unit, students will learn about: international entrepreneurship, including types of business structures, participating in foreign exchange, and how businesses contribute to the international market place.

Unit: International Business Project


Description
In this unit, students will learn about: international business as they complete a project where they select a product, identify a target market, select a country to market the product, then determine if the product needs to be modified to better fit the country's market, and create a marketing presentation.

Unit: Reflection Questions and Discussion


Description
In this activity, students will journal about international trade, its importance, how diversity plays a part, types of business ownership and its importance to international business. A class discussion can follow.

Description
Students will review articles for information related to a topic in the module. Once an article is found, students complete a Current Event form.
