Description
In this unit, students will learn about: obstetrics, the assessment of the obstetrical patient, how to assist with a delivery, and complications of delivery and pre-delivery emergencies.

Unit: Reflection Questions and Discussion


Description
In this activity, students will journal about delivery guidelines, patient age and assessment, A&P differences between children and adults, an aging sensory system, and managing suspected abuse cases. A class discussion can follow.

 

Unit: Special Populations Scenario


Description
In this activity, students perform information and patient assessments, apply understanding to provide basic emergency care and transportation for a special population patient, and document findings.
